Meta may not be sending all comment webhooks

Instagram and Facebook use webhooks to notify Tildei when someone comments on your posts. Occasionally, we’ve seen that Meta doesn't send all of these webhooks, which means Tildei never receives the notification that a comment was made.

What we know:

• Tildei processes 100% of the webhooks that Meta sends to us
• Meta's own status page doesn't always reflect these webhook delivery issues

What you can do:

• For high-value campaigns with low comment volumes, consider manually checking your post comments and reaching out to anyone who may have been missed
• Contact your Tildei team if you're experiencing this issue frequently - we can help escalate to Meta support with specific examples

What this means: Unfortunately, webhook reliability is controlled by Meta, not Tildei. We're actively monitoring this issue and working with Meta to improve reliability, but there's currently no technical solution that guarantees 100% comment capture when Meta doesn't send the webhook.

The comment text doesn't match your trigger phrase

For automations using "exact match" scenarios, Tildei uses a smart matching system that accounts for minor typos and variations. However, if a comment has too many differences from your defined phrase, it won't trigger the automation.

Common reasons for non-matches:

• Extra characters (e.g., "GIVEAWAY!!!" vs "GIVEAWAY")
• Excessive misspellings or creative variations (e.g., "GIVEAWAAAYYY" vs "GIVEAWAY")
• Additional words (e.g., "I want GIVEAWAY please" vs "GIVEAWAY")
• Different phrasing entirely

What you can do:

• Review your post comments to identify common variations people are using
• Work with your Tildei team to adjust your exact match phrase or add additional trigger phrases
