WhatsApp Business Account Setup

Requirements

• [ ] Personal Facebook account
  • The person whose personal Facebook account is attached to the signup flow must be an admin of the Business Manager account in order to set up WhatsApp Business Accounts.
• [ ] Phone number for use with WhatsApp (you are not able to sign up with a number that is currently active on WhatsApp or the WhatsApp Business App)
  • Tildei can provide this if you don’t have one
  • If you have a number that’s currently active on WhatsApp that you would like to use, that may be possible, but we should discuss migration to identify any potential considerations.
• [ ] Business Manager account
  • Business that are not yet verified must request Business Verification from within Business Manager. (Business settings > Security Center)
    • This option may only be available after connecting with Tildei
    • Before being verified the templates that can be used and the number of WhatsApp messages that can be sent will be limited.

  • WhatsApp display name (what your contacts see along with your phone number - this should likely match your business name)

  • Business Email Address (will be used for email verification)
  • WhatsApp Business Profile
    • Category

    • Company logo/profile picture to add to the phone number profile (640x640)
    • Business description (optional, 512 character limit)
