Overview

Model Context Protocol (MCP) connections allow you to extend your Tildei Agent's capabilities by connecting external MCP servers that provide specialized tools and resources.

Setup Process

Step 1: Access MCP Settings

1. Navigate to Agent Settings in the sidebar
2. Click on MCP Connections
3. Click the Configure new MCP Connection button

Step 2: Configure Connection Details

In the modal that appears, fill in the following information:

• Name: A descriptive name for your MCP connection
• Description: Brief description of what this connection provides
• MCP Server URL: The URL where your MCP server is available (typically provided by your MCP server administrator)

Step 3: Load and Select Tools

1. Click Load available tools to retrieve the list of tools from your MCP server
2. Review the available tools that appear in the "Enabled tools" section
3. Check the boxes next to the tools you want the Tildei Agent to use
   • Each tool includes a description to help you understand its purpose
   • Select tools that match your intended use cases

Step 4: Save Connection

Click Create to save your MCP connection.
